Help Utah’s Roseman University of Health Sciences continue our tradition of making health education accessible to everyone by attending our annual Scholarship Gala. This year, our event will be held in the luxurious Florence Ballroom of Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas. This location has inspired our 2013 gala theme: When in Rome.
We have big things on deck for this year’s gala. Pianist Tim Boatman, a long-tome Roseman supporter, will join two renowned opera singers, Rochelle Martinsen and Lance Taubold, for the evening’s entertainment. An hors d’ouevres and wine reception will start at 5:30 PM. During the reception, we’ll host a silent auction, pass out mystery gifts, and draw a scholarship raffle winner. Dinner begins at 7 PM, followed by a live auction and the presentation of the 7th annual Champion of Health Care in Education award to Bob Cooper. Roseman is thrilled to honor Cooper for his tireless work helping our university extend its reach in Henderson.
Reservations for Roseman University of Health Sciences’ Gala are available by calling (801) 682-4232. You can also use that number to ask us for information about our nursing, dental, and pharmacy school programs in Utah.

Do you take pride in helping others who are in need? Would you like to make your job work around your other life commitments? If so, you may want to consider nursing school. Though the nursing field has a long history, it remains one of the most popular career choices for many reasons. Whether you’re looking for a career that can also be your passion, or you’re yearning for a future with financial security, nursing school can satisfy and even exceed your professional aspirations.
Make a Difference in Another Person’s Life
When you enter nursing school, you embark upon a path where each day provides a new opportunity to bring hope and comfort to others. Nurses often are the only familiar faces that patients see day in and day out as they undergo treatment for their illnesses and injuries. When all around them is chaotic and foreign, your patients can find reassurance in your presence. Being able to see firsthand the positive impact you can have on others is just one of the many rewards of this career.
Enjoy a Flexible Work Schedule
People frequently complain of not having enough work-life balance in their lives. If you fall into this category, nursing school could be the perfect solution for you. No matter if you are employed at a hospital, private practice, or other healthcare facility, you often can choose the hours you would like to work. Whether you want six-hour shifts six days a week or 12-hour shifts three times a week, your nursing degree can provide you with great schedule flexibility.
Enter a Field with Lifelong Job Security
The healthcare field continues to grow by the day. Especially in the United States, a burgeoning population and increasing life expectancy are just two indicators for the ongoing need for qualified nurses. Given the expanding demand for healthcare professionals, you can rest assured that nursing school will allow you to enjoy many decades of job security no matter what your nursing discipline is.
Roseman University of Health Science in Utah provides superior nursing programs for those who wish to work in the healthcare field. For more information regarding our nursing school, call (801) 682-4232 or visit our website. We can also schedule a campus visit for a firsthand glimpse at what our college has to offer.

Going back to school is a great way to improve your career outlook and open the door to jobs you may not otherwise have access to—but balancing your education while still working can be rather difficult if you are unprepared. Continue reading to learn how you can pursue your MBA at the Roseman University Of Health Sciences while managing your current work schedule.
Notify Your Employer
One of the first steps to take when getting your MBA is to notify your employer so that they know how your educational endeavors may affect your work schedule. In some cases, your employer may actually be willing to work with you and change your schedule, especially if the classes you are taking will benefit your job position and boost your performance.
Consider Course Difficulty
Another thing to consider when pursuing your MBA while working is to balance the level of course difficulty. For example, you may consider offsetting more difficult analytical classes with ones that require less mathematics, as these can be harder to take while you are trying to keep up with your work schedule.
Use Your Time Wisely
Finding time to study and complete assignments while holding down a full-time job doesn’t have to be impossible. Consider using short breaks throughout the day to go over your course work, such as time before meetings, during your lunch break, or while on the way to work if you take the bus or are part of a carpool.
Get Plenty of Sleep
The amount of sleep you get each night will have a direct impact on both your school and work performance. Try to avoid cramming late into the night or skipping sleep, as this will only make it more difficult for you to retain the information you need while still performing well at the office.
Make sure you are on the road to getting your MBA by contacting Roseman University Of Health Sciences online or calling (702) 990-4433. We have nursing programs, a dental school, and a pharmacy school.

Getting ready for college can be one of most exciting parts of your life, but it can also be one of the most nerve-wracking. Preparing yourself ahead of time will make it easier for you to transition from your previous high school environment into the college world. This article will discuss a number of things that every college freshman should know before their first day of classes.
Create a Budget
It is important to create a budget for yourself before you even set foot on the college campus. Be sure to take a number of things into consideration on top of your tuition, such as the money you’ll need to spend on books, school supplies, food, and dormitory supplies.
Get a Planner
A good way to stay on top of your course load and daily requirements is to invest in a planner. Consider writing down all of your classes and extracurricular activities in your planner, using computer reminders, or utilizing other technological tools to help keep you on track.
Learn How to Manage Stress
Stress is a normal part of the college experience, but finding ways to manage stress will make it easier for you to do well in all of your courses. Be proactive in finding ways to manage stress, such as exercising on a regular basis, eating well, and getting plenty of sleep each night.
Take Advantage of Campus Resources
Taking advantage of campus resources is a great way for you to stay on top of your academic responsibilities. This includes visiting the library when you need some quiet study time or need to research items for a paper, joining a student organization club, and visiting with your academic advisor regularly to ensure that you stay on track.
